Fred's at Tesco Osterley is no more.

Tesco's Bakery Project
Just opened at Tesco Loudwater and rolling out down south.
Inspired by their Euphorium Bakery purchase, the 'posh' bowler hat lights and open display look good.
Definitely 'buy with your eyes' presentation.

This Has Legs
A vision of things to come - Giraffe Stop at King's Cross Station. Fast takeaway service as well as some sit down space.
Giraffe (sorry, Tesco) is on to a winner with this concept in high footfall locations.

Flash, Beep & Vibrate
What cafe do you get when you cross Taylor St Baristas and Tesco. Answer: Harris & Hoole. Interesting use of pagers even when the order is for just one small latte. It was a good coffee when it was ready.
Rolls of brown paper signage

Red (Chocolate) Roses
Three special ladies in my life - wife and twin teenage daughters - will get Carluccios chocolate roses and a short break to Barcelona - anyone know some great cafes there?
"Marry Me?" cakes and cupcakes at Dobbies garden centre cafe at Ashford - this is one very switched-on cafe operation and a treasure trove of future blog posts. Tesco, who owns Dobbies, is on to a winner. Will Dobbies will sort out Tesco cafes one day?
You just cannot get enough heart shapes - Krispy Kreme's doughnuts and Millies cookies. I prefer the chocolate roses.
