Starbucks is trialling Powermats in the US and plans to roll them out across Europe. The mats are set into tables, and phones/iPads that need to be charged are simply placed on top with a connecting ring attachment. Starbucks will sell the rings or loan them out. Haven't we all run out of power at some stage - a winning idea.
