Great catering service at Royal Ascot rewarded by Sodexo Prestige's service pins.  Simple, it works and the staff we met really appreciated the recognition.

 Edinburgh's Royal Botanic Garden has an Edible Gardening Project with on-site polytunnel.

Serious Recycling

Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, and their caterer Sodexo, are serious about recycling with notices on every outside table plus the appropriate bins.

Crystal Cafe

Sodexo Prestige operate the cafe in The Crystal http://www.thecrystal.org/_html/about/about.html - a stunning new sustainable conference centre and exhibition building in East London.  Check out the adjacent Emirates Air Line cable car across the Thames which links the Crystal to the O2 arena.

Stately Cakes but no Marmalade

The cake table at Blenheim Palace's Garden Cafe by Sodexo looked good but the enticing Marmalade Flapjack had no trace of any taste of  marmalade.  The caterers Searcys take over soon and we wait to see their take on stately home catering.

Go to Chelsea for the Buns

The big guys - Sodexo in this case - don't always get it right but their Chelsea Buns at the Chelsea Flower Show are great - fresh, not too big, tasty and dense with fruit.  Not cheap at £2 but worth it.
